Cancellation & Weather Policy
Weather & Rain Delays
Lawn maintenance heavily depends on weather conditions.
- If heavy rain or storms render lawns too wet to mow safely or without damaging turf, service may be delayed.
- When weather conditions prevent scheduled service, the appointment may be shifted by 1 to 2 days or moved to the next available operating day.
- Severe weather, flooding, lightning, high winds, extreme heat, or other unsafe conditions may require additional scheduling changes.
- Olvera's Lawn Service will make reasonable efforts to notify customers when weather affects their scheduled service.
- Weather-related delays do not constitute a cancellation of the customer's recurring service agreement.
We appreciate your patience as we work to provide quality lawn care while protecting your lawn, our equipment, and our crew.
Service Cancellations & Skips
- To skip or reschedule a specific mowing appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance whenever possible.
- Cancellations of recurring service agreements require written notice at least 7 days prior to your next scheduled service cycle.
- Short-notice cancellations or inaccessible properties may be subject to applicable trip or service fees.
- Weather-related cancellations are handled according to the Weather & Rain Delay policy above.
Extreme Weather & Unsafe Conditions
Olvera's Lawn Service prioritizes the safety of its employees, customers, equipment, and property.
Service may be delayed, shortened, rescheduled, or canceled when conditions include:
- Lightning or active thunderstorms
- Tornado warnings or severe weather
- Flooding or standing water
- Extremely wet or unstable soil
- Dangerous winds
- Extreme temperatures
- Unsafe property conditions
- Other conditions that create an unreasonable safety risk
Service will resume when conditions are reasonably safe and the route can be completed.
Olvera's Lawn Service reserves the right to update these Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Weather Policies when necessary. Updated policies will be posted on this website and may apply to future services. Customers are encouraged to review these policies periodically for changes.
